Local residents are invited to an impartial debate, to be held on the 10th June at the Shiraz Mirza Community Hall in New Malden, in regards to Britain’s continued membership of the European Union.
Former Richmond Park MP and Liberal Democrat Economics Spokesperson, Baroness Susan Kramer, will be putting the case to residents for remaining in Europe, whilst newly-elected UK Independence Party London Assembly member, David Kurten (who also lives in New Malden), will be putting forward the case to leave Europe.
Editor of Coombe Monthly, James Giles, will chair the meeting. Residents are invited to put their views to the panel ahead of the crucial vote on the 23rd June, where the British public will vote on our membership of the European Union.
